day thirty nine, china glaze skate night
in my opinion china glaze is the best at 'blackened' colours. they're rich and vibrant but have a dark edge to them and it makes the colour so much more special. china glaze are also known for glass fleck polishes (which i can only assume means that finely ground glass particles go into each polish for an added shimmer) but as the weather today was rainy and grey i couldn't get any sunlight to show the glimmer. today i wore skate night which is from one of their recent collections and it was a blackened berry colour...almost a raspberry. it was a red but definitely a pink toned red. the blackened berry made it much more of a colour i would wear happily instead of a bright cheery pink.
