day one hundred and sixty three, rescue beauty lounge stormy
don't forget to enter my giveaway where you can win TEN bottles of nail polish!!! (if anyone is wondering how i'm conducting it i'm checking all your entries, putting them into a spreadsheet and then randomising the list so everyone has a fair chance, i am then going to go to random.org and let it pick the winning number for all 3 prizes! the winner will be chosen in 6 days)
perfection. that is rbl polishes in my opinion. they are always flawless in shine, opacity and ease of application. if anything is worthy of it's hefty ($18) price tag...it's rescue beauty lounge. i know i can't wait to get my hands on the spring collection...thankfully i've got almost every RBL polish that i am interested in from the current line so in theory i won't break the bank (but in application...we'll have to wait and see)
stormy is a fantastic blue-grey creme with a slight hint of green. it boggles me how you can get so many variations into one colour...i know my crayola crayons as a child didn't have these complex hues! this is also RBL with no topcoat, they're so deliciously shiny it's unreal. if only i could get my hair to be as shiny as these polishes i'd be in the professional hair shaking business (to attract people with it's shine as it is reflected mid-shake of course!). i'm feeling a bit goofy today so it's reflected in my words. this polish is another 'applied like cream cheese' polish (i know it won't catch on over saying something 'applied like butter' but dammit i like my version better!)...the perfect consistency for maximum coverage. the overwhelmingly amazing thing about RBL polishes is that their cremes (i think i only own 2 non cremes...under the stars and scrangie) are all 1 coaters. i like to apply 3 coats but there is just no need with these. i usually do two just to be safe since i have a tendency of knocking my hands about while the polish is still drying...but if you are looking for the perfect stormy day grey...this is your winner!!
