day two hundred and forty eight, nfu-oh 52

SO! wayyyyyyyyy back when i showed you 51 from nfu.oh, a really cool purple flakey. this is along the same lines except while number 51 was a red/purple this is a blue/green purple and it's FANTASTIC.

it's a purple jelly with these flakes mixed heavily in and it flashes so many different colours. i'm so ridiculously in love with it! i have one nfu-oh holographic polish to swatch, a few more flakes and a large handful of nfu-oh cremes in addition to this one. i cannot wait to try them and show you all!

my nails are back to nubbins, had ANOTHER nail break. i've never had the strongest nails to begin with but daily polish changes is really hard on my fingers. so i've switched basecoats again, now i'm using the gold bottle from nfu-oh that is for weak and brittle nails and designed to promote the production of keratin in your nails. it was bloody expensive at $18.50 so hopefully it does the trick as i've tried a LOT of basecoats to no avail (essie, bb couture, OPI, nailtek...etc). i am also taking biotin again, a vitamin that is excellent for your nails, hair and skin! i used to take it and it did improve the health of my nails and then i ran out and forgot to repurchase it!

anyway, onto the beauty that is nfu-oh! (my cuticles are a nightmare and i apologise...i've been worrying them to pieces) this is three coats!

I love this polish. I'm sorry to hear about your nails. Good luck with the nfu oh base, I'm curious how well it works?
