day seventy seven, nailtini kir royale

here's another from nailtini, called 'kir royale'. i had to look up kir royale because i'd never heard of it but apparently it's a cocktail (which i sort of knew...i knew it was alcohol based since all their names are but what specifically it was...i did not know!) and it has this same red/orange/pink/swirly glow thing about it. it's a really interesting polish...it's different from ones that might be similar like burnished bronze from misa...the colourway is just different. it has a shimmer as well. it really feels like a flame or a sunset. it's very interesting to see how different angles and lights can change the whole colour.

i still don't like the full size nailtini wands...the stem is WAY too long. but the bristles were softer on this polish than they were on grappa so i found it easier to manipulate the polish on my fingernails.

That looks like a beautiful polish, but the colour does not show much likenes to its namesake, the famous drink of Kir Royale. Here is how it's done: pour 1 part Creme de Cassis (black currant liquor) into flute champagne glass. Fill up with 5 parts chilled Champagne.
Cheers! :-D
