day one hundred and six, lippmann collection ruby red slippers
alright. i'm doing this polish an injustice by only having two photographs but i'm posting it anyway. this is quite possibly...the most AMAZING polish i have EVER come across. it is black with red small and hexagonal glitter. AMAZING. i do'nt know if you remember but when i talked about barielle blackened bleu i mentioned how most companies fail at creating coloured glitter over black polish. lippmann hit it on the head so hard they've destroyed the nail. it's amazing...really. super bright, eye catching...i got compliments ALL day. this does not dry smooth though...so i ran into some problems at the tips because i experienced a bit of chipping since there was no smooth end to the polish and some polish got caught on things (even air..i'm that talented i can chip my polish on air...jealous!? :D ) but it was worth it. so amazing and so different. eventually i'll work my way to the black w/red glitter polish that i own but it doesn't hold a candle to this masterpiece.
HOWEVER. it wins an award for WORST POLISH TO REMOVE EVER! the glitter is so thick and chunky..i was scrubbing at my nails, i think it took me about 45 minutes to get it off all 10 fingers. yes it was worth the removal effort...but next time i try it i definitely need something stronger than my £0.79 cotton wool pads!

Wow! This is GORGEOUS! I NEED to get some. This just might be my favorite polish you've done yet! I love it :) :)
there are NO WORDS to describe how amazing this polish is. really! it leaves me speechless!
Wow, you can't miss that one - utterly unique!
And I agree...glitters of all shaped and sizes are the worst to remove. But that's the price we pay for such a stunning color :)!
Gorgeous color!! Two things: 1) try getting some felt from a arts and crafts store, which helps tremendously with glitter removal, or 2) try taking your cotton balls and soaking each one in remover and leave them on the nail for a few minutes, then follow with a second remover soaked ball to remove. I saw this on ALU's site and it really does make removal better. I'm actually about to go do that now!
