day ninety seven, rescue beauty lounge starfish patrick
here's a rescue beauty lounge polish that i don't hear about too often called starfish patrick (spongebob!). it's a mellow cantaloupe type colour and is pretty jelly-like....you can see hints of the whites of my nails in the photos. i bought this awhile ago and i think maybe i was more tan at the time? i'm pretty pale right now and i'm not sure this is as flattering as it maybe once was..? it's still a nice neutral. rescue beauty lounge do shades for all occasions...neutrals/calm colours for professional or people who prefer more basic colours annnnd then a whole collection of reds, blue/green...i couldn't be happier.
it's also worth nothing that all of these photos are done without a topcoat. sooooooo shiny!
(but i think i'll put this one away until that long far away day i get a tan)

I love the name. Crazy. I cannot get RBL in the UK. No how, no way. This annoys me greatly. It is a bit sheer and it doesn't really suit your skin-colour but I love the bottles and the font.
That is a beautiful color, it is bright without being obnoxious!
jaljen i definitely agree, not very flattering. moving from california to london 5 years ago has definitely made me pale!! have you tried ordering RBL direct from the site? last time i made an order ji even under-delcared customs so i didn't get a fee which was sooo nice! HQHair sells RBL...but their selection isn't the best.

Love love love this color! I wear it often for a perk of color without being obnoxious. When I went on vacation I wore this on my tips and RBL Coral on my toes--divine! I agree that it's more a spring/summer color. I guess this is where I'm lucky I'm black so it looks pretty good year-round, lol! BTW, love this blog!!

I'm actually wearing this color right now and I'm practically an albino. I actually find it quite flattering on my pale skin. It would probably look nice with a tan, too. Here's a link to my post.
